Ranjan Ramchandani ( Batch of 1983) is a Internationally renowned Award Winning Wildlife & Professional Photographer.He has more than a hundred Global awards under his belt. He is an Olympus Visionary and Brand Ambassador and his pictures have been published in many international magazines including “Outdoor Photographer”. He has a book to his name “ Ladakh – The Land of Splendour”.

Some of his International awards include IPA ( International Photography Awards) PX3 Paris, TIFA ( Tokyo International Foto Awards)

MIFA ( Moscow International Foto Awards) and Charles Dogson International award for Black & White photography. He won two Pollux awards for his wildlife work. He also won the Travel Photography Award at the Biennial for Fine Art and Documentary Photography held at Barcelona in 2018. Ranjan’s work has been showcased for three consecutive World Photo Biennials held in Malaga, Berlin and Barcelona.

Based out of Singapore,he is also the Asia/Africa Editor for the magazine – The Wild Lens, published out of USA. Recently he became one of the founding members of the Gallery FotoNostrum in Barcelona, Europe’s largest Photo gallery.

Ranjan is truly an adventurer and explorer and you would usually find him in some corner of the globe photographing wildlife or uniques tribes in various forests. He has a very lovely wife Vandna who supports his passion and a daughter studying at Johns Hopkins University, USA.

When I spoke with him about this, he offered to help organize safaris for any of our members anytime.

At AFBBS, he won a number of medals at National Level in Yachting.
